Police say they are looking for an 80-year-old woman who was reported missing out of Greensboro by her daughter on Saturday.
Pamela Council told police she discovered her mother Rudene Franqui missing after authorities said they were called to Windhill Court, apartment around 2:18 p.m.
Council said she does not know how long her mother had been gone. She said she may have walked to the train or bus station.
►Franqui is described as a black female, 80 years old, standing 5’02” and weighing 160 pounds with brown eyes and shoulder length grey hair.
►Police said the missing person is believed to be suffering from dementia or other cognitive impairments.
►Police said she was last seen wearing a royal blue windbreaker, grey sweatpants and black moccasins.
Authorities said Franqui is from Georgia and was visiting her daughter from a few days.
Officials said K9 units and several patrol units canvassed the area, but Franqui was not located.
