A statewide Silver Alert was issued this morning for a 76-year-old man who suffers from dementia and vanished from a Fort Myers retirement home on Thursday.
Robert Bond was reported missing from the Calusa Harbour Retirement Home, 2525 First Street, sometime before 1:22 p.m., the Fort Myers Police Department said.
►He may be with Joanne Mikelonis, 62, and heading to Fort Lauderdale.
►They may be in a 1998, green Chevrolet C1500 with Florida tag number W460PR.
►Bond does not have his medication for dementia and officials are worried for their safety.
