Anaconda police are looking for a woman who has been missing since Sunday evening.

The family of Tammy Salle, 41, told police it was very unusual for her to go missing and not try to contact anyone — especially over Christmas, according to Anaconda police Chief Tim Barkell. Salle’s adult daughter reported her missing Wednesday.

The daughter said she last saw her mother Sunday. Police questioned Salle’s boyfriend, whom she lived with at a residence in the 500 block of Hickory Street, and he told police that they got into an argument Sunday evening and she left in his vehicle.

►Police suspect she may be driving a bluish-grey 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix four-door with a Montana license plate ALS 456.

►Salle is described as white, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 140 to 150 pounds with green eyes and brown hair.

Salle takes medication for depression and didn’t take it with her, according to Barkell. Phone calls to the missing woman’s cell phone go directly to her voice mail, police reported.

Anyone with information on the missing woman’s whereabouts is asked to contact Anaconda police at 406-563-5241.
